Stefan Mauritz

Short biography

Stefan Mauritz, M. Sc. studied social sciences and economics at the University of Erfurt from 2011 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018 he studied sociology and social research at the University of Cologne and the University of Utrecht. During his master’s, he worked as a research assistant in the field of social structure analysis and at the Chair of  Social and Economic Research at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne. He wrote his master's thesis on the bargaining processes of nonresidential couples during the transition to a common household. Since 2019, Stefan Mauritz has been working as a research associate at the Graduate School GROW and is doing his PhD on the partnerships and the consequences of partnership dissolution in old age.
